Infinite attend NETS Share and Spread Conference
The objective of LEAN is to maximise customer value while minimising waste. A LEAN organisation places customer value at its heart and continuously analyses and optimises its processes in order to increase it. LEAN thinking changes the focus of management from concentrating on separate processes and departments to improving the flow of services throughout entire value streams.
LEAN methodology involves recording events both before and after change and requires a number of pre-defined resources including forms and spreadsheets. Infinite have been commissioned by NETS to develop an iPad App that will make this process smoother and more intuitive. Working with the project team we developed a rapid prototype for the App. Breaking down each requirement we defined the data that is input, how it is interpreted the reports it will generate. Des Kennedy and David Whitfield from Infinite attended the ‘NETS Share and Spread Conference’ to present the prototype and discuss it in detail with delegates.
Valuable feedback was received and has led to further development. The Share and Spread Conference provided an ideal platform for end user engagement. The next steps include finalising the specification based on the prototype and user feedback before moving to the development of version 1.0 of the App.
