Great North Museum
Spineless Exhibition
Aimed at families with young children and telling the story of Earth’s incredible invertebrates. ‘Spineless’ covered five interpretive themes. Coral reefs, seashores, rainforests, caves and gardens. With each brought to life using animations, interactives, projected films and live handling creatures! Bright, colourful and noisy. With free-standing structures, a cave, sound domes and bespoke cases.

“Spineless proved to be our most successful temporary exhibition, in terms of visitor numbers, since the Great North Museum opened.”
